Of Mice and Man. Chapters 1-4
1 Chapter 1 I recieved to striking point what i read. Mice adn George and Lennie.
Mice
it seems like Lennie loves to mess with dead mice. To find out that Lennie always use to play with mice, but he always use to kill them. Lennie would try to hid the mice from George because he knew that George would just take it away. Lennie never use to kill the mice on purpose it was always an accident.
The Apperance
George and Lennie in the beginning of the book aproach the scene from a distance. The man in the front was lennie, and the man in the back was George. It seemed like George was very thirsty because he just drowned his face in the water. He even said that the water was good and the water was green.
George gets angry
George gets angry at Lennie because he feels like Lennie is always getting him in trouble. Every time George tries to do somthing lennie is always destorying the process. He let all his anger out at lennie and makes lennie feel bad. Lennie gives George a piece of his own mind.
Lennie Thinks
Lennie tells George that he is sorry that he feels like he has been destroying his life. He asked George did he want him to go away to the hills or something. George said no because he needed Lennie there. So lennie took a little pride out of that.
The night outside.
They even thought that they wasen't going to make it in time so they spend anight in the forest. They cooked beans just enough to feed 4 hungry man. lennie wanted to play around and stress George over some Ketchup.
George and Lennie
Two good freinds on their way to find a job at a ranch. George is the much bigger person, while lennie is small and very much listen to George. George and Lennie was dropped off at soledad, because the bus driver didn't want to drive all the way to the front of the ranch. So they had to walk 10 miles to the ranch, and was late for the first day of work.
Beds
George had a promblem with the ranch beds. He felt that it was not all the way taken care of. It had alot of bug spray around the bed. George asked why is all this chemicals here whats you trying to do to me.
Old man ear hustle.
The old man was on Lennie and George door ear hustling. When they open the door to find the man listening to their conversation they got angry. The old man came in and presented his old dog since he had since it was a pup.
Curley
The big bad curley. The old man tells the two new guys that curley is the son of the boss. Curley is in the lightweight class and nobody would ever stand a chance. Curley tries to start some stuff with lennie.
Curley wife
George thinks that Miss curley is nothing but trouble. He thinks she is a rippper. While on the other hand lennie thinks she is a fine lady. George want lennie to stay away from her so she won't say that lennie rapped her.
Boss owner
Came to the ranch just to check out his property and to see the new guys. He ask a couple of qestions to Lennie and Lennie doen;t answer. Instead Geroge answer for him. The man kinds of gets mad and wonders why george is taking up for lennie so much.
Slim
was one of the man who entroduce themselves to the new man. He was taking to the owner for a minute. He asked did he ever get rid of that dog. Mr. Slim says that he had killed a couple of dogs the night before. Then mr. Curley came back into the room made as hell looking for his wife.
